Jamaica U17 national team continued their quest to qualify for the FIFA 2015 U-17 World Cup against Cuba. The Jamaicans started off determined to take care of business against the Cubans. Only two minutes in the match and the U17 Reggae Boyz were offered a penalty. The Cuban goalkeeper was able to save the penalty taken by Alex Marshall, however. Jamaica sored later but the goal was ruled an offside by the referee.
Early in the second half the Cubans scored to go up 1-0. The lead did not last long, however, as the Reggae Boyz were able to even the score a few minutes later. Both teams threatened after that but neither the Cubans nor the Jamaicans were able to find the back of the net and the game ended 1-1.
The Jamaicans will play the Soca Warriors in their next match, which very well might be a must win for the young Reggae Boyz.
