American rapper TI has been booked as one of the headline acts to appear at Reggae Sumfest 2015 on July 17th.
TI will replace Rick Ross who was previously billed for the show, but according to Reggae Sumfest 2015 promoters, will not be able to appear due to circumstances beyond their control.
Reggae Sumfest 2015 promoters say that Rick Ross is unable to travel at this time.
They say his management has said that Ross is saddened that he cannot be in Jamaica to perform for his fans, but he looks forward to coming to Jamaica in the near future.
Reggae Sumfest 2015’s format is similar to previous years, with a mix of home-grown talent and American pop acts.
The appearance of Academy Award winners Common (on July 17) and Jennifer Hudson (on the 18th) influenced the festival’s ‘Summer Blockbuster’ theme.
Like Hudson, upcoming rapper/actor Yazz The Greatest (of the hit cable series Empire) performs on closing night along with Beenie Man and Christopher Martin.
