Hillary Clinton shot back at a heckler in the crowd during a Florida rally who shouted that her husband, Bill, was a rapist Tuesday night.
“I am sick and tired of the negative, dark, divisive, dangerous vision and the anger of people who support Donald Trump,” Clinton said as she pointed a finger at the protester.
The heckler began shouting: “Bill Clinton is a rapist” at the top of the Democratic presidential candidate’s 20-minute speech. The heckler also held a sign with the phrase written on it.
“We’re not going backwards, we’re going forward into a brighter future,” Clinton said as the crowd began to chant “Hillary! Hillary! Hillary!”
Clinton’s security detail quickly removed the heckler from the audience.
Bill Clinton has been accused of rape in the past but the former president denied the accusations. Donald Trump has been accused of rape by his former wife but the Republican nominee neither denied or confirmed the accusation.
