Players in the National Football League (NFL) just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. In this case, the player has not yet been convicted of any crime, so it is only alleged trouble for another NFL player.
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Josh Huff has been arrested after being pulled over and police finding a gun and marijuana in his possession.
Huff reportedly was driving on the Walt Whitman Bridge in Philadelphia when he was pulled over for speeding.
Huff, 25, has 13 catches for 76 yards and a touchdown and also returned a kickoff for a score in the Eagles’ win over the previously unbeaten Minnesota Vikings in Week 7. He appeared to be in line for more playing time given the Eagles receivers’ lack of playmaking ability, but this reported arrest could change things.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ front office say they are currently investigating the situation and Huff will be dealt with appropriately depending on what their investigation yields.
