Shenseea is undoubtedly the fastest rising female star out of Jamaica. The 22-year-old has risen so fast that she has shot past the self-proclaimed “Queen of the Dancehall”, Spice. Spice might have more followers on Instagram but when it comes to real life fans, Shenseea is miles ahead of all other Jamaican artistes.

The Shen Yeng Anthem singer is not shy about flaunting her major accomplishments and in a recent interview with a Jamaican tabloid she made it clear that she is on top of the game in dancehall and have all intentions of climbing even higher.

“I’m not just an artiste that caters to one audience… [I cater to] everybody who love dancehall, everybody who love not-so-raunchy songs, everybody who love roots and reggae, everybody who loves the singing type of international stuff … I’m international now because I’m travelling and I have a major fanbase across the world. Every single place I go, there’s always #ShenYengs… I’m talking about some Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Beyonce type levels. That’s international to me… I don’t even have to take a show; I can do my own shows … my own tours,” she told the tabloid.

That is a great accomplishments in a short span of time because part from artistes like Beres Hammond, Sizzla and a few others, not many Jamaicans can do their own show or tour.

Not only was Shenseea featured on Christina Aguilera’s latest album but the sexy diva wants the world to know that she has a lot more international stuff coming up in 2019.

“I’m working on a lot of international stuff now, that you guys have not heard. I haven’t released anything of that sort. I have to just keep on doing my thing when it comes on to reggae and dancehall music…” Shenseea said.
