Incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel has continued to belt out hit after even from behind bars. The latest jam that the entertainer is hoping will be yet another hit is a cover of Ziggy Marley’s “Tomorrow People”. Of course this is a change from what is usually expected from the gaza boss.
The song finds Vybz Kartel being helped by auto-tune and moving to a full singing style. As with most auto-tunes songs, it is difficult to judge an artist’s real talent, but based on comments in the popular dancehall reggae forum (DHR), no one will mistake Kartel for a Beres Hammond or Sanchez. It wa not all bad for the world boss, however, some actually thought that he did a fairly good job singing Ziggy Marley, considering the fact that he is a deejay.
Below are some of the comments people are making about the song:
Some people have no shame to produce and release this. Even to post it….
