Kamala Harris should have never been a prosecutor. Her extreme bias and prejudice prove that she is not worthy of such position. Sadly, thousands of innocent Black men might have had their lives ruined by Miss Harris.
The most important metric that a prosecutor’s climb up the career ladder is based on is how many criminals he or she successfully prosecutes. While being a prosecutor, Kamala Harris prosecuted a large number of criminals and most of them were black men. Questions are now arising about whether all these men were actually guilty of any crime, as Miss Harris has recently proven that she can easily be swayed by stereotypes.
In a recent interview, Harris claims that her love and support for marijuana is based on the fact that she is of Jamaican heritage. This seems to suggest that if a person of Jamaican heritage was ever brought in front of her for a marijuana crime, they would be guilty in her eyes regardless of the evidence. The fact is, however, most Jamaicans do not smoke marijuana.
If Kamala Harris holds the Jamaican and marijuana stereotype so dearly then what other stereotypes does she hold dear? Every Black man is selling narcotics? Every Black youth is a member of a gang and involved in gang violence?
Along with her biases, Kamala Harris also proved that she will do whatever it is to progress in her career. While in her twenties, Miss Harris dated the then mayor of San Francisco, Willie Brown, who was more than twice her age at the time and also married. Mr. Brown admits that Harris dated him for political favors and was rewarded as such.
“Yes, I may have influenced her career by appointing her to two state commissions when I was Assembly speaker. And I certainly helped with her first race for district attorney in San Francisco,” the former mayor Brown said of Miss Harris.
These kinds of behaviors should have everyone who is on the side of justice worried. Every person that was ever prosecuted by Kamala Harris should request a review of their case. This would be a request that no judge could deny based on what we now know about Miss Harris.
