How many people have fatally overdosed on Marijuana? Zero. None. Zip. Not a sing person has ever overdosed on marijuana.
To fatally overdose on marijuana, you would need to ingest fifteen hundred pounds of pot in fifteen minutes. Yes, that’s how much weed it would take to kill a human being. Bob Marley, Willie Nelson, Snoop Dog and Wiz Khalifa cannot smoke that much pot in that little time. So basically, it is impossible for humans to ingest enough marijuana that could kill them.
For comparison, opioids, which include prescription pain relievers and heroin, killed more than 28,000 Americans in 2018. Nearly 88,000 people die from alcohol-related causes every year, which makes alcohol the fourth leading preventable cause of the death in the US.
Even Tylenol and Aspirin could kill you if you ingest too much. However, while it is possible to ingest enough aspirin and Tylenol to fatally overdose, it is impossible to do so with weed.
so the moral of this story is, too much pot could kill you but it is impossible for humans to consume that much in the amount of time required to do so.
