A South Dakota woman was caught with more than 100 pounds of marijuana while driving along interstate 90 in Sioux Falls. The woman was pulled over by law enforcement for switching lanes without turning on her indicator.
Sharlene Carpenter, 36, of Sioux Falls, behaved suspiciously when she was pulled over, according to the police. This gave police probable cause to search her vehicle and they subsequently found parcels of marijuana weighing more than 100 pounds.
Carpenter was taken into custody and charged with possession, dealing in marijuana and trafficking marijuana.
Her bail was set at $100,000 and she is due to appear in court on March 3.
