Give thanks and praises to the most high. The youths of Jamaica voted Chronixx as the celebrity role model at the Youth View Awards 2015.

After incarcerated Vybz Kartel was voted the favorite dancehall artists, many were wondering if there remained any hope for the youths of Jamaica.

The youths have proven that they are paying attention to what is taking place around them by voting one of the most positive forces in dancehall reggae right now, Chronixx, as their celebrity role model.

It would have looked very bleak for the Jamaican youths if they had chosen Vybz Kartel as their role model. The incarcerated DJ did walk away as one of the big winners of the night, however, as he won two awards. Vybz Kartel won the favorite dancehall reggae artist of the year as well as song of the year with “Miami Vice”.
