• Sid Blumenthal calls John Boehner a lazy, alcoholic louche: In November 2010, Sidney Blumenthal passed on the information to Clinton about what he was hearing from his Republican sources. Blumenthal is a long-time friend of Clinton’s and unofficial advisor. He had this to say about House Speaker, John Boehner – “Boehner is despised by the younger, more conservative members of the House Republican Conference. They are repelled by his personal behaviour. He is louche, alcoholic, lazy, and without any commitment to any principle. Boehner has already tried to buy the members with campaign contributions and committee assignments, which he has already promised to potentially difficult members. His hold is insecure.”
• Clinton supporter David Brock wanted to impeach the Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas: In October 2010, Sidney Blumenthal passed on a memo from David Brock, in which he lays out his reasons for impeaching the conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

With so many of Clinton’s private conversations becoming public, Clinton must be feeling really embarrassed as of now. As mentioned earlier, about a quarter of Clinton’s private e-mails are available for all to view and the scrutineers around the world are digging for interesting scoops in it. But, one thing is sure after reading her private conversations and all the gossip embedded in it that American politics is more of ‘Veep’ than ‘House of Cards.’ With all the conspiracy theories that have been prevalent since the start of time, the real picture depicted by Clinton’s e-mails makes people want to laugh.
