By all reported accounts, Osama bin Laden’s young son Hamza Bin Laden seems poised to carry is late fathers torch as head of the terrorist group  Al Qaeda his father founded decades ago.

Hamza bin Laden, released an audio message this week calling on jihadists to unite & “liberate Palestine & called for continued attacks against the West, including “lone wolf” attacks. He has reportedly congratulated the Boston bombers and other recent acts of terror.

Andreas Krieg, an analyst at King’s College London, told The Independent that Hamza “has been labeled a crown prince” after he survived the 2011 US special-operations raid that killed his father.

“I think Hamza is following al-Zawahiri knowing that he cannot emerge from his shadow just yet — if ever,” Krieg told The Independent, referring to current Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri. Hamza has already pledged loyalty to Zawahiri, signifying that he is a member of Al Qaeda.

While Hamza’s whereabouts is currently unknown, one thing is certain, he survived the raid that killed his father and older brother Khlaed, Krieg.
