Vybz Kartel might be in prison but from the look of it he send his sons to deal with his enemies on the outside. In a song called “Radio” Vybz Kartel two sons who go by the performing name, PG13, take lyrical cop at Popcaan, the one time student of Vybz Kartel.

This come out less than two weeks after Popcaan posted on instagram that he does not trust Vybz Kartel. So the question is which one came first? Did a birdie tell Popcaan about a song getting ready to touch the road from Kartel’s sons that took aim at his credibility and that caused Popcaan to post the instagram? Or did Vybz Kartel heard of Popcaan’s post and that caused Kartel to send his sons in the studio to counter Popcaan?

Though PG13’s flow is below average, the lyrical content is OK and does have the Vybz Kartel signature written all over it. The artists say:

Play Kartel, Mavado, Shawn Storm
Gage and Octane, yes unuh a gwaan
Tarrus Riley hotter than warm
But wi naw lie still, wi nuh trust Popcaan

It will be interesting to see where this song leads. Vybz Karet’s fans are already referring to Popcaan as Flopcaan. It will be interested to see if Popcaan releases a song to counter “Radio” from PG13.
