Most would take any amount of blame to protect the reputation of a loved one who has passed on. Bobby Brown is not having any of that however, as he attempts to clear his name, he is making it clear that it is Whitney Houston and not him who introduced cocaine to their relationship. In fact, Bobby Brown is claiming that he caught Whitney snorting coke on their wedding day.
Brown claims that on their wedding day he took a peek at Whitney only to find her “hunched over a bureau snorting a line of coke”.
Brown says that Whitney tried to make him take a hit of the coke but he refused.
“I smoked weed, I drank the beer, but no, I wasn’t the one that got Whitney on drugs at all. It’s just unexplainable how one could, you know, claim that I got her addicted to drugs,” Brown said.
“It wasn’t me who started her. I take my part and I take it hard for me even being a part of it, but we all have our own minds and some of us are stronger than others,” he added.
Bobby also said it hurt him to think that fans thought he was responsible for her death. He added: “I’m not the reason she’s gone. It makes me feel terrible. But I know differently. I think if anyone ever knew us, if anybody ever spent time around us instead of time looking through the bubble, they would know how we felt about each other. They would know how happy we were together. For the rest of my life, I will have that feeling towards her because she was the one person that knew me – that one person who had no judgment.”
