Reggae Star Bob Andy Robbed and Stabbed.

The great reggae musician, Bob Andy, was robbed and stabbed last night.  The artist whose real name is Keith Anderson was robbed of a large sum of money and numerous cell phones in the wealthy community of Mona in St. Andrews, Jamaica.

Andy was stabbed when he tried to resist the robbers.  He eventually gave in to their demands and his injuries are not considered life threatening.

It has alleged that since last week a group of men of being riding through the wealthy communities of Jamaica, robbing and in some cases injuring people.  The police have now issued a warning to people in these communities to be very careful and be on the lookout.

These crimes are happening at a time when Peter Bunting the National Security Minister is saying that Jamaica’s crime rate has dropped since Vybz Kartel has been to prison.

Bob Andy is known for a number of reggae hits, including “I’ve Got To Go Back Home”, “Fire Burning”, “Desperate Lover,” “Feeling Soul”, “Unchained,” and “Too Experienced”. He is a founding member of the Paragons singing group, and has written a number of hits for other leading reggae artistes including Marcia Griffiths and Ken Boothe, One of his biggest hits was a version of “Young, Gifted and Black, with Griffiths.

    it sad robbers have no pitty respect&manners for their elders sad that a man can plant him corn and someone else shows up to reap that man blood sweat&tears its so sad to know these acts is happening but i do hope that one knows what goes around comes around no unjust act will go unpunished one day soon will have to pay no mercy for the mercyless.
