Is the OJ Simpson Saga all about Karma?
OJ Simpson
Long time friend of OJ Simpson, Ron Shipp, says the football legend is living in turmoil and any day now will confess to the killing of Nicole Brown-Simpson and Ron Goldman. It leaves you to wonder if the whole OJ story is a lesson on karma or a perfect example of how the American Justice System will get the Black man, regardless of his riches.
This OJ saga is playing out like a Hollywood script. If I was not witnessing this myself and someone was telling me about it, I would sea they were making it up. OJ is acquitted of a double murder that the majority of “mainstream” America feels he is guilty of. After more than ten years of enjoying his freedom on various golf courses, he decides to write a book stating how he might have killed Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman if he had really done it. Again, a lot of “mainstream” America views the book as a confession. He is sued by Fred Goldman who is the father of Ron Goldman and subsequently Fred wins all rights to the book to help settle the judgment he won against OJ in the civil court.
On the very day of the release of the book, good old OJ Simpson is accused of armed robbery. You could not ask for a better promotional stunt for any book release. If the Goldman’s were about to sell a million books, thanks to OJ they will now sell about ten millions. Karma; Poetic Justice; goes around, comes around; call it whatever you want to, but please don’t call it coincidence.
Now it is no longer just an accusation. OJ was arrested, charged and convicted for armed robbery. So if OJ committed the murders and thought he got away, time caught up with him. Not only is he wasting away in prison but the civil judgment that he never paid, he will inadvertently pay that also. He has written a book and has given the book greater marketing than any promotional tour could have done. The Goldman’s will end up with more than they won in the judgment.
Now, I actually thought that OJ Simpson was innocent, I thought Mark Fuhrman planted the glove, I still think Fuhrman planted the glove, but my mind started changing when OJ wrote the book. For him to write such a book tells me he had something on his conscience that he just had to get off. And with everything that has transpired since the writing of the book up until now, it fits together too perfectly for me not to call it karma.
The only thing left is to hear the full confession from the mouth of OJ Simpson.
