There is no stopping what can’t be stopped and it seems like caged deejay, Vybz Kartel, cannot be stopped.  Even though tremendous efforts have been made to stop the world boss from recording behind bars, he continues to put out new songs almost every month.

The latest song from Kartel making a buzz in the street is a song that is promoting plastic surgery.  The name of the song is Luxury Doll.  Dancehall fans believe that Luxury Doll will do for plastic surgery what Cake Soap did for bleaching and Coloring book did for tattoos.  Of course the great Marcus Garvey is turning in his grave.

Dancehall Queen Sher has already been influenced by the song and has gone on to perform plastic surgery on her body.  Before the surgery she looked like Rihanna but now she looks like Nicki Minaj.

Miss Kitty says the song is great and help women to not be ashamed for having plastic surgery.

“The females dem wah do dem body love the song, and I think it’s a nice gesture because it allows them to feel confident about their decision,” she said.

“Instead of being body-shamed, these women will feel good about themselves. Anything Kartel sing bout become gospel eventually. People will begin to look at the issue differently and will ease up on the bashing. Look pan di whole ‘freaky gyal’ thing. People used to go hard wid the freaky girls until Kartel say him love dem, and all of a sudden, freaky gyal nuh bad no more.”

Yanique ‘Curvy Diva’ Barrett also agrees that the song does a lot for women who have had plastic surgery like Spice and herself.

“Vybz Kartel has always been and will be about the ladies. I guess because it’s now a trend for females to do butt implants, breast implants and tummy tuck, he chose to give them a name and song just in case after they did the surgeries they still feel a little way,” she said. “Look at what he did with freaky girls. When most of the other male entertainers were being of a double standard about freaky girls, Kartel seh, freaky gyal a dem gyal deh me love. Same thing he’s doing with Luxury Doll.”

Dancehall fans are happy that the world boss can still record as he needs to make enough money to pay for his upcoming appeal.
