Vybz Kartel seemingly responded to his estranged wife’s surprise pregnancy news on Friday with a social media post that he quickly deleted, but not before fans got screenshots of the post.
The ill-advised response is a screenshot of a story that 18 Karat Reggae broke that Shorty is pregnant with Mavado’s baby. Kartel captioned the screenshot with “Breed fi bloodclaat who? Dat a lie. A my baby. Beenie man done tell them mouth water caan breed woman.”
Vybz Kartel and Shorty has three children together. After Kartel got sentenced to 35 years in prison, Shorty promised to patiently wait 35 years for her man but their relationship ended last years after rumors of Shorty’s infidelity started circulating.
It is not certain if Kartel’s paternity claim was serious or not. However the deejay is know for recording music behind bars so a few conjugal visits by Shorty would not be a huge surprise.
