When the news broke yesterday, all the former members of the former Portmore Empire clan stayed silent about it, including then former Gaza prefect, Popcaan.
But last night, after finishing his performance at a show, Popcaan gave an interview to 24 Karat Reggae and reluctantly broke his silence.
“Did you know the news was going to break about Shorty’s pregnancy?” the interviewer asked.
“Mi jus hear bout it dis mawning,” Popcaan replied. “She nuh confirm it yet. Sometime the media hear something from a friend of a friend of a celebrity and run with the story without real facts, suh mi jus a wait and see.”
While Popcann did not confirm the news, he also didn’t deny it, adding:
“Man breed woman everyday day, every hour, every minute, every second. Suh a nuh nuttin if him breed her. Remember D’Angel leave Bounty Killer and guh breed fi Beenie Man.”
While Vybz Kartel hasn’t released an official statement on the matter, multiple outlets are reporting the news. 18 Karat Reggae was the first to break the story.
