King of the dancehall, Vybz Kartel, has been hospitalized after new broke that the wife of the Gaza’s boss was pregnant from his longtime rival Mavado.
His hospitalization was confirmed to 18 Karat Reggae by his attorney, Tom Tavares-Finson.
“I was informed today by the prison authorities that he would be taken to University Hospital,” Tavares-Finson said.
It is not clear if it is the pressure and stress of hearing the news that Shorty is pregnant that causes Kartel’s illness but it is understood that the deejay has been complaining of pains in his side.
The pregnancy of Vybz Kartel’s wife pregnancy for Mavado was first reported by 24 Karat Reggae and might have been the first time Kartel heard about it.
Vybz Kartel is currently serving a life sentence for murder but the courts will be hearing his appeal case in early 2018.
