A lot of people, especially those in the entertainment industry are very happy for Lady Saw and her recent acceptance of Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Tanya Stephens, however, is not so happy and she is making no secret of it. The “It’s a pity” singer even went was as far as suggesting that the world would be a better place without Lady Saw.

After Lady Saw released an open letter of apology to female artists Macka Diamond, Spice and Tifa; Tanya Stephens posted that what Lady Saw should do is “Apologise to the world fi born.”

Then was after Stephens posted the following:

Incidentally… I’m listening out for a clear and detailed apology first to Lady G and then to myself. Maybe then I’ll think it’s a little less laughable. A no di one weh shit a pass memba, a di one weh tep in deh! Jamaica, for the new year you simply must stop misdiagnosing mental illness and bad behaviour of spoilt brats.

Ouch!

After Stephens was chided by reggae fans for her childish, immature and hatred filed behavior, she followed up with:

Jus a laugh afta di eediat dem out deh weh a try defend it like dem know noten! If everybody fi start talk bout da craases deh a woulda group therapy needed and a only stadium coulda hold we! Think it nice???? Struuups.

Only Tanya stephens and Lady Saw know the reason for such blatant hatred and animosity. Whatever the reason is, however, let’s hope these talented sisters will make peace. We also hope it is not jealousy, as most reggae and dancehall fans agree that Lady Saw is the queen of the dancehall; at least she was, until she decided to follow the Lord.
