Fresh off his brilliant performance on the Tonight Show Chromixx is back in the studio putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album Chronology. In a time when the music is dominated by sex, murder and mayhem it is a breath of fresh air for fans to know that something uplifting is coming down the pipeline.

For a while it seems like Chronixx was on his way to lead reggae back on the righteous path, he was even hailed by some as the next Bob Marley. All of that came crashing down after he referred to then president Obama as a “waste man” and Vybz Kartel as a “canibal”. Chronixx had to learn what 18 Karat Reggae already knew, your people will turn on you for telling the truth. Still, who would gave thought that reggae fans would turn their backs on a conscious Rasta artist in order to support a convicted murderer.

Anyway Chronixx as put all that negativity behind him and reggae fans now have a lot to be happy for and look forward to.

To kick off the album promotion, Chronixx performed Majesty and Likes on The Tonight Show for which the audience gave him a standing ovation.

“I just love this guy,” Jimmy Fallon said about Chronixx. You got that right Jimmy and the real reggae fans love him too and cannot wait for Chronology to drop.

Following the performance, Chronixx was filled with nothing but gratitude for have been given the opportunity to share from this platform.

“Give Thanks! The Tonight Show was a great experience for myself and all the musicians. We give thanks for these things that come with music. Music comes with a lot of things and this is one of them, the opportunity to impact lives across the world — to touch people’s spirit. It’s a great thing because right now our culture is one of the most powerful forces. People may think that we don’t get a lot of recognition for it but it’s not really about the recognition or what is said but what is done. It’s not about the glory and the awards that you get for the deeds, but the deeds themselves. So we give thanks for the works and the deeds and the ones who do the works and for the ones impacted by it and those remembered for it,” he told 18 Karat Reggae.

Chronixx is working with top studio audio engineer, James “Bonzai” Caruso, on the project. Caruso is a 5 time Grammy winner who has worked with top acts like Damian “Junior Gong” Marley, Diana King, Stephen Marley, Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, Missy Elliot, Erykah Badu, Lenny Kravitz and Cher.
