Things are looking up for the “Equal Rights” Artist Ishawna.
Her latest hit (insinuating women should demand a fair share of oral sex in the bedroom) went viral leaving a lot of men perplexed. The ladies don’t seem as affected so we can essentially label that controversy a purposeful one: she got noticed and the track is moving!
In the last few days after making comments on Instagram that is perceived as disrespecting Jamaica’s Cultural Icon – Miss Louis Bennett,
Ishawna was once again in the hot seat 💺 her statement was as I quote “mi nuh dress inna tablecloth like Miss Lou”. The backlash is heavy and angry and demanding a apology. Ishawna however chose not to.
Yet another controversial story emerged days ago: it states Ishawna is being sued for passing on the “super gonorrhoea” to a gentleman she briefly hooked up with in Montego Bay.
FINALLY – By all account, Ishawna’s management team has called it Quits!
“In a statement received by Music News, Donsome Booking Agency and Adrian Donsome Hanson say it no longer manages the dancehall deejay.
Ishawna has since taken to Instagram to announce her new information for booking purposes.
