Donald Trump had to have known that his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, was on the borderline of treason. Yet instead of hiring lawyers who are experts in that area, he chose to spout off his mouth on Twitter, even as FBI’s investigation into their campaign’s collusion with Russia was closing in the walls on them.
Now Donald Trump is a fat and ugly bigot but he is no idiot. He has enough sense to know that his crazy twitter rants could come back and haunt him. Yet when he was supposed to be having serious discussions with lawyers, he was busy insult in public the last people he should be insulting.
We now know, according to U.S. officials briefed on intelligence reports cited by the Washington Post, that in early December 2016 Jared Kushner and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak “discussed the possibility of setting up a secret and secure communications channel between Trump’s transition team and the Kremlin, using Russian diplomatic facilities, in an apparent move to shield their pre-inauguration discussions from monitoring.”
While this is new to the public, it is safe to say president Trump knew of this long time ago even when he was telling us that former FBI director, James Comey, had informed him that he Trump was not under investigation. Trump also made it clear that he could only speak for himself that he was not in collusion with the Russians. So he knew there was a chance that his son-in-law was but based on his behavior he doesn’t seem to care if Kushner ends up being charged for treason and even convicted for such.
There is no secret that Donald has intimate feeling towards his daughter Ivanka and it must hurt him to the core that he has had to share her with her husband over all these years. Ivanka moved into the white house with her daddy even while her step-mother was not allowed and had to stay at the Trump Tower in New York City. Papa Trump could not be 100% happy with the situation, however, as Ivanka dragged her husband Jared along with her. Maybe Jared insisted that he should go wherever his wife goes. It is said that president Trump only decided to bring Melania on his first world tour as president when he found out that Ivanka was allowing Jared to tag along.
So as the investigation by the FBI and the special counsel heats up, Jared Kushner has got to be worried. After all, it is quite possible that he ends up facing some serious charges. President Trump is happy, however, if things go the way he wants it to go, he will have Ivanka back all for himself. The only issue is where Melania will fit into that picture.
