Even junk food giant, McDonald’s, is admitting the greatness of marijuana. Along with admitting how good marijuana is, the fast food leader is claiming that their burritos are just as good. But can the burritos get you as high as marijuana can?
McDonald’s is so sure of their claim that they are advertising it on a huge billboard in Mexico.
The billboard says the following: “Usually when you roll something this good, it’s illegal,” alongside a photo of a green chile breakfast burrito.
It appears to tap into the marijuana-legalization debate, particularly with its placement along the New Mexico-Colorado state line.
New Mexico has not legalized recreational marijuana, while Colorado was among the first states to do so.
California voted in favor of Proposition 64 in November, allowing adults 21 and over to possess up to an ounce of marijuana and cultivate up to six plants indoors. In about six months, pot stores licensed by the state will begin selling marijuana to adults.
