Drew Brees and George Floyd
Drew Brees and George Floyd

Drew Brees, like Donald Trump, has proven that all the money in the world does not make you a good human being. Even if Brees should win a million more Super Bowl rings, he would still be a dirty, low life scum of the earth.

After all the pain and suffering that America has witnessed these last few days, especially Black America, Brees the human filth still believes that kneeling during the national anthem to draw attention to police brutality should not be allowed in his beloved NFL.

““I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country,” Brees said. It is almost as if he thinks the flag, a piece of cloth, is worth more than a human life. Or maybe in Brees’ eyes, Blacks are not humans and their only purpose is to catch a football when he throws it.

It is easy for Brees to spew his idiotic patriotic nonsense because he does not have to worry about his son being the next Trayvon Martin. He doesn’t have to worry about him, himself being the next George Floyd. It is not because Brees’ son will never walk alone through their gated community on a rainy night or even that Brees will never be accused of allegedly tendering a counterfeit $20 bill, however, he knows that the worst treatment he will get is what Dylann Roof got after murdering 9 church goers.

The New Orleans Saints used to put a bounty on the head of opposing quarterbacks. Hopefully, every Black linebacker and defensive linemen in the NFL will put a Bounty on Drew Brees’ head and then on any given Sunday we might see him feeling the pain and suffering George Floyd felt. Maybe then he will understand why Colin Kaepernich, Ed Reed and other players take a knee during the national anthem. Maybe then, he will understand why those men are the heroes that he will never be.

They want peaceful protest but only if it is peaceful on their terms, peaceful enough to not make them uncomfortable. The oppressors want to tell the oppressed how to free themselves from the oppression.
