Dancehall star Zeego is the essence of quality over quantity. The singjay has never been one to release hundreds of songs a year, however, when he does release a song, dancehall fans can be assured that they will be listening to a hit. So no one is surprised that the artist’s latest release “Boss Way” on the “Tap Dawg riddim” is pure fire.
As always Zeego is spitting some potent lyrics as he both warn and remind wannabe competitors that they are not in his class. “Yall ni%%a$ is soft… Yall f*(ki^g with a gangsta you know am the boss,” the artist tells any entertainer who would dare to invade his space.
Still the artist wants the young youths to know that what they are listening is just some deadly ammunition from his lyrical arsenal.
“It’s only lyrics still. We don’t preach or practice violence, So we want all the young youths to understand that this is just a lyrical confrontation and truths and rights is always the order of the day,” the deejay told 18 Karat Reggae.
For those who miss the best part of Dancehall riddims that has been missing from the genre for a while, the Tap Dawg riddim will bring back that vibe and feeling. The riddim and compilation is produced by Code Red and GT Youths Productions and feature other artists such as OGmarley, Remmington, Gaddie G, Dukes, Negus, Inigma and many more.
The compilation is now available on iTunes, Spotify and all other music platforms.
