One thing as been consistent about Donald Trump and it dates back to his days as a young real estate mogul in New York City, he always sides with men when it comes to things like rape, sexual abuse and sexual harassment; unless of course, the men being accused are Black or Hispanic.

The most recent example of this trend is evident with the Rob Porter’s alleged domestic abuse. Trump has repeatedly noted that Porter, his former staff secretary, denies the charges of physical and emotional abuse levied against him by both of his ex-wives as well as a former girlfriend.

“People’s lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation. Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused – life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?” Trump tweeted on Saturday.

Trump also defended Porter in a recent interview. “Porter says he’s innocent and I think you have to remember that. He said very strongly yesterday that he’s innocent but you’ll have to talk to him about that. We certainly wish him well. … He did a very good job while he was in the White House,” Trump said.

At no point did Trump ever show any empathy to any of Porter’s alleged victims.

When Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly faced a series of accusations regarding his conduct toward women last spring, Trump, again, came to the man’s defense. “Personally, I think he shouldn’t have settled,” Trump said of a series of legal settlements agreed to by O’Reilly over the years. “Because you should have taken it all the way; I don’t think Bill did anything wrong.” O’Reilly was fired by Fox News.

The fact that @realDonaldTrump praised Porter and O’Reilly yet said not a word about their abusive behavior towards women is typical of his attitude toward women and abuse, unless the women were allegedly abused or assaulted by Black men. This is evident the way called for the death of the Central Park five, even after DNA evidence proved that they were innocent. Trump has also defended every powerful man accused of sex crimes, except for Bill Cosby, of course.
