Jamaican police must not have hear Chezidek’s “Leave The Trees” song. Either that or they do not care what the Rastaman has to say.

Marijuana is decriminalized in Jamaica but it is still not legal. If you have more than 2 ounces of marijuana you are committing a crime. Reggae star, Chezidek, learn that recently when Jamaican police destroyed his marijuana farm along with his fruits and vegetables.

Police did not give a reason why they raided his farm but the “Leave the Trees” singer said, the police destruction did not stop with his marijuana farm.

“The police destroyed my marijuana plants, vegetables, tents, a hammock, water hose and containers,” Chezidek told 18 Karat Reggae.

With marijuana decriminalize in Jamaica, you still need a license to grow it. Chezidek did not reveal whether on not he has obtained the necessary license to plant ganja.
