Buju Banton has been the hardest worker in show business where Dancehall and Reggae Music is concerned and now 18 Karat Reggae has learned that the current king of reggae will be doing some major work on his personal life in 2020.
A very reliable source in the Buju Banton’s camp has informed 18 Karat Reggae that has soon as the Rasta’s Long Walk to Freedom Tour concludes, he will be heading to the chapel to marry his longtime sweetheart.
A few weeks ago, pictures of Buju and his sweetheart were leaked online and fans of the entertainer wondered who the mystery woman was. It is now understood that the lady in the photo has been Buju’s sweetheart since he was incarcerated. The two actually exchanged numerous letters while he was locked up and she even visited Buju in prison on numerous occasions.
“She was like Buju Banton’s rock while he was locked up,” the source told 18 Karat Reggae. “Even when Buju’s then wife, who is now his ex-wife, had forsaken him, this girl stood strongly by the Gargamel like a real lioness.
Buju Banton was previously married to Nina Atalah, who herself is now engaged to Ghanaian superstar footballer, Asamoah Gyan.
Atalah walked away from the marriage with Buju after he got incarcerated on drug charges in the United States.
Buju Banton is joining the growing trend in Jamaica where Jamaican artistes who were once known for having many women are now settling down and trying the know. In recent time, a spate of artistes have gotten married including; Tony Matterhorn, Aidonia, Konshens, Agent Sasco, Mavado, and most recently Ding Dong.
