A new study was conducted back in August that proves that in the eyes of men, dark and light skin women were equally beautiful.
The study was pretty simple. It took 8 women ranging in skin shades of light to dark and lined them up in order from lightest to darkest. They then took 20 men from each of the following ethnicity; African, Asian, European, Native American and Oceanian, for a total of 100 men.
The lightest woman was assigned the number “1”, the second lightest was assigned number “2” all the way to the darkest women being assigned number “8”.
So each time a man voted for a woman, her number was tallied and at the end of the voting an average was taken. So if all men had voted for the woman who was assigned number “1” then the average would have been one, likewise if all men had voted for the woman assigned number “8” then the average would have been 8. So if men preferred lighter skin women the average would be close to 1 and of they prefer darker skin women the average would be close to 8.
After all 100 men voted and the average was taken, the average was 4.7. It was almost an even split down the middle. This proves that in the eyes of men, light skin and dark skin women are equally beautiful.
