The album put a spotlight on two of the hottest reggae stars in Rasta Progrez and Mr. Bertus.

The album starts off with “Ganja for life” by Mr. Bertus, a song that has been top ten on all the Reggae singles charts around the world. The song is a beautiful tribute to Peter Tosh, Desmond Dekker and marijuana legalization. The Portmore artiste also blesses the album with “Plastic Smile” and “Jah make the mountains”.

Rasta Progrez’ first song on the album is “One Day” and blurs the already thin line between dancehall and Reggae Music. In fact, the beat to One Day bears some eerily similarities to the beat on “Toast” by the Reggae Music Grammy princess, Koffee. The Rasta artist also does a beautiful rendition of the song “Smile” by Fitzroy Face. Interestingly enough, both artists’ versions of the song are presented on the album.

One thing is for sure, Reggae fans who have never heard of Mr. Bertus and Rasta Progrez will get to know them in 2020 and based on the gems they have an the album, they both will be talked about in the reggae community for a long time to come.
