“If a man washes his hands he can eat with kings” – Chinua Achebe (Things fall apart). Top flight deejay, Vybz Kartel, is surely trying to wash his hands. Whether he will be eating with kings anytime soon depends on the outcome of his appeal to the UK Privy Council on his conviction.
Vybz Kartel might be a convicted murderer but that does not stop him from constantly stepping up to help the less fortunate; for that the deejay deserves much kudos.
Kartel’s latest philanthropy work find the world boss donating $200,000 JMD to a two year old cancer patient.
Parents for the little boy says he has an aggressive form of cancer which has resulted in two lumps on his forehead and is spreading all over his body.
This is not Vybz Kartel’s stepping up to help with his money. Last year the world boss stepped up to help the family of Jodian Fearon, the young pregnant lady who died in labor after being denied access to numerous hospitals because they thought she had COVID.
Vybz Kartel is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of Clive Lizard Williams.
