Jamaican police has confirmed that female dancehall entertainer, Keshan, was shot and killed early this morning.
Keshan whose real name is Kenneisha Brown is famous for the song “The Goods” which she recorded with incarcerated dancehall star Vybz Kartel. She is also known for another hit song “Bubble yuh Body”.
Jamaican police informed 18 Karat Reggae that the 24-year-old entertainer was shot and killed shortly after midnight during a dispute with a licensed firearm holder.
Eyewitnesses alleged that Keshan threw rocks at the license firearm holder as well as stabbed him multiple times before he discharged his weapon and shot her in the upper body.
The entertainer was taken to the hospital where she died while being treated for her injury.
