Canadian Parliament Chants *4 More Years* for Barack Obama!
Canadian Parliament gave Barack Obama a Standing Ovasion and an Exuberant Chant of *4 More Years* after his address to the senate.
Obama was visiting Canada for the North American Leaders’ Summit between the U.S. President, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau – informerly dubbed the “Three Amigos Summit” and “dude-plomacy.”
Obama mixed jokes about the Stanley Cup, and the War of 1812 (when American troops sacked Toronto and the British torched the White House), with messages about free trade and defense cooperation.
“We see ourselves in each other and our lives are richer for it,” Obama said. “The enduring partnership between Canada and the United States is as strong as it has ever been and we are more closely aligned than ever before.”
How aware are we that this can very well happen, especially given the unrest with respect to Donald Trump Campain (plagued by violence, fascist rhetoric) not having the necessary establishment support from Republicans? In the history of US, two presidents have served more than two terms, Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin D. Roosevelt. The 22nd Amendment defies this possibility but think about this..
Ever heard of Martial law? the highest-ranking military officer as the military governor or as the head of the government can impose it! It is usually imposed temporarily when the government or civilian authorities fail to function effectively (e.g., maintain order and security, or provide essential services).
Its not far-fetched, America has seen better days…the Constant mass shootings, a dysfunctional Republican Party, a Nominee that constantly instigates hate among different ethnic groups, the violent episodes at his rallies…all this can amount to a civil unrest wherein an election is not safe much less possible.
