What if Donald Trump was just pulling a stunt on America? Or a fast one so to speak? What if his intention all along was just to show how popular he could get and not really to build a huge wall? What if he just wanted to put his children in the national spotlight, say like the big stage at the Republican National Conference? What if he just wanted to show off his sexy and beautiful wife, nude photos and all in order to make other men drool? Or better yet, what if it is like many suspected that he and Hillary Clinton were in cahoots to make sure Hillary is the next president.
All of the above might sound far-fetched and it really should. But guess who is not taking any chances? The big wigs in the Republican Party, that’s who.
Senior Republican Party officials have reportedly been looking into how they would replace Donald Trump on the ballot this November if the nominee decides to exit the presidential race.
According to ABC News, GOP leaders have been considering the possibility that the real estate mogul might drop out of the election in the wake of his erratic behavior and a series of controversies in the weeks since accepting the nomination.
Even though Donald Trump has not said he would be dropping out the race, his actions suggest that it is a strong possibility. He has been disrespecting generals of the military as well as the parents of a soldier who died in Iraq. He has also alluded to the fact that he thinks the elections are rigged. It would not surprise most people if he withdrew from the race and based on recent development, it would not surprise the Republican leadership either.
