Buju Banton and Donald Trump have at least one thing in common; they are both against the wearing of masks.
On a video released on his Instagram, Buju made it clear that he was against the wearing of masks, something that Trump has also been against since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
“Who fi dead a guh jus dead and who fi live jus gwaan live. Mi nah wear nuh mask,” Buju Banton said in the video.
The Jamaican government requires citizens and visitors to wear a mask while in public and cannot social distance.
Jamaicans does not face the same problems as their brothers and sisters in the United States face with COVID-19. That is because people in Jamaica tend to be more active and also eat healthier so they don’t have the underlying health issues like heart disease and diabetes at the high rates that Blacks in America have it.
In the United States Black are dying at an alarmingly higher rate than Whites because they have poorer health habits.
So while Jamaicans can listen to Buju Banton and do just fine without wearing a mask, Blacks in America SHOULD NOT listen to Donald Trump.
