Just over a week after being released from an American prison, Buju Banton is back in the studio making music for his fans.
While the Banton had tip toed in and out of music studios including Penthouse and his own studio, Sunday was the first day that he actually recorded any music.
While everyone is tight lipped about what kind of songs the Banton is recording, who are collaborating with him and who are the producers, some social media posts from people in the music business have given us some insights on what to expect.
DJ Khaled posted pictures of him and Buju Banton in the studio and Gramps also posted similar photos. Of course we all know that Gramps and Buju worked together in the past on the song Psalm 23.
The fact that Donovan Germain is Buju’s manager has led to a slot of speculation that Buju Banton and Dalton Harris the X Factor 2018 winner could be doing a song together as Germain is also Harris’ manager.
We reached out to Gramps Morgan to find out if the songs being recorded by Buju will be ready for Christmas or if we will have to wait until 2019, he responded that everything is “top secret”.
