Reggae singer Anthony Malvo is pleased about the response he’s getting with his new single titled So High.
The song, produced by Malvo and released on his Real Music Production imprint on January 27, is currently enjoying heavy rotation in Jamaica, Canada, the United States (US), the United Kingdom and India.
“The feedback I’m getting about this song is excellent. Since I released it, I have been getting a lot of positive comments from fans about it on social media. One of my fans who lives in India told me he played it at a party and he had to pull it up about 10 times,” said Malvo.
The music video for So High has been released on 18 Karat Reggae facebook page and is already racking up thousands of views.
“The video is… a very nice video. We’ve put a lot of work into it. I can’t wait to see how the fans will react to it.”
So High was recorded on the Sorry rhythm, which was influenced by Justin Bieber’s hit song titled ‘Sorry’.
Several other reggae and dancehall artistes have also recorded songs on the rhythm, including Busy Signal, Mr Vegas, Sean Paul, Chuckle Berry and Delly Ranx.
The hard-working entertainer/producer is currently working on some new projects, including an album that is slated to be released later this year.
“This is going to be my fourth album, and I plan to make it extra special for the fans,” he said.
Malvo is booked to perform on a number of events later this year in the US, Mexico and Europe.
