Dancehall artist, Tommy Lee Sparta, had his day in court today but things did not go his way. The entertainer who was arrested on gun charges last December and spend Christmas and New Year behind bars was hoping he would be free today. That did not happen.
The Spartan Soldier singer was remanded in custody when he appeared via Zoom in the High Court Division of the Gun Court today.
His next court date is set for March 24th.
Tommy Lee Sparta whose birth name is Leroy Russell was was apprehended after a Toyota Mark X motorcar in which he was travelling was intercepted on Holborn Road, in St Andrew.
A 9mm pistol containing 18 rounds of ammunition was allegedly found in his waistband.
