Horatio Campbell is a young and upcoming dancehall sensation also known as “Iceberg”. Hails from May Pen in the parish of Clarendon, Jamaica the birth place of dancehall.
Iceberg has been in the business for quite some time where he has been penning lyrics for renowned dancehall artist such as Rodney Price aka “Bounty Killa”, Macka Diamond just to name a few. Iceberg started to record his own music in 2010 when he released his first single “Swagga Like Mine” which the official music video for the song peeked at number 2 on the Hype TV VTX countdown.
In 2010, he also released his first mixtape entitled “Massacre Reloaded” which was an instant hit among the young hardcore dancehall fans island wide. Iceberg followed up with a slew of hits which lead to the release of his second mix tape “Gangsters Paradise” in 2013. The title track and the mix tape also pushed dancehall fans to recognize his talent as both a good songwriter and a performer. Still riding high from the success of his second mixtape he recorded a single titled “Badmind Dem Got” featuring British based dancehall artist “Ovadose”.
In November 2015, he released another hit single “Don’t Brukki Line” which was an instant success on social media as fans gravitated immensely to his catchy yet witty lyrics. Some even say that’s’ where dancehall artist “Alkaline” stole the idea for his single “Don’t Skip di Line/Wait Yuh Turn”.
Currently, Iceberg has just finished recording another monster track titled “Still Nuh Feel Like Yuh Gone” for Cayman based Producer “Slyda di Wizard” and is now in the process of finishing up the video for the track. The single was released by 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution and is now available on iTunes.
