A pastor hired a prostitute to come to his hotel room and answered the door to one of his congregation members.
Titus Ncube, a Zimbabwean pastor living in Brooklyn, New York and a married father-of-three, was surprised to see a member of his own church showed up at his Queens Hotel after he hired a prostitute online.
They both decided to keep the incident a secret but things got out of hand when the woman tried to use the incident to blackmail and extort the pastor.
Things got so bad that the pastor ended up having to admit the incident to his family, the church and report the woman to the police.
“I am sorry for what I did. I spoke to my wife and family. I apologized for my actions as I just want my family back. I have sought counseling which is helping me to get over this most difficult period,” Ncube told his church congregation.
His wife Rosemary said: “If it were not for my children, I could have divorced him a long time ago. But because of the trauma that divorce has on children, I decided to stay.”
“I have decided to forgive him and we are picking up the pieces and moving on,” the wife concluded.
