A new strain of gonorrhea is infecting patients all over the world and the World Health Organization is sending a warning that this mutant “super gonorrhea” is not treatable by current means. Sadly, the antibiotic-resistant disease which is spread by oral sex has reached Jamaica.
Ivan Martin from St. James has filed a lawsuit against dancehall star, Ishawna, for giving him the disease. 18 Karat Reggae obtained a copy of the lawsuit from the court.
The suit contains the following allegations:
“Dancehall star, Ishawna, gave me gonorrhea. I woke up with three blisters on my penis. My doctor says it is not the regular gonorrhea, it is one that has no cure. In America they call it super gonorrhea.”
Mr. Martin said he met up with Ishawna after she performed at a show in Montego Bay and took the deejay to a hangout spot in the tourist city.
“Me and her did a chill out a Bottom road. She start telling me how she was into biting insects and equal rights. Suh mi seal her up and she seal mi up but the next day mi affi run to di doctor. Shi gimme gonorrhea and it is the one that have no cure.”
18 Karat Reggae reached out to Ishawna but our calls were not returned.
