So the reincarnated Snoop Lion is back to his old ways of calling women bitches and hoes. His reincarnation did not last too long. Snoop Lion is no more and it is back to Snoop Dogg. Snoop was a Rasta for as long as it took him to visit Jamaica, record a reggae, shoot a documentary and market said album and documentary.
As the rapper once said, “Da game it to be sold, it is not to be told.” It is a shame to what some have done to Rasta in the name of money. Speaking on Mount Zion but imitating Zionists.
Bunny Wailer was right when he said “Snoop Lion was hijacking Rasta to sell music”, yet he was cursed and ridiculed by some in the reggae community, especially the Marleys. Rohan Marley even went as far as calling Bunny Wailer a phony. How ironic, that the person who wanted to market “Bob Marley beer” after Bob Marley said alcohol is the destruction of the nation, is calling someone a phony.
At the time of Bunny Wailer’s statement, Snoop dismissed Bunny as being the fraud by telling Rolling Stone, that the Marleys had his back so Bunny Wailer did not count.
But guess who stood up in my defense? Rohan, Rita, Stephen, Damian Marley. Rohan went public. He called him Phony Wailer, or whatever he called him. I can’t call him that; I don’t know him like that. But they do. They know what he after and they love me. If Bob’s kids and his wife welcome they arms and say, “You one of the Marleys,” then who is Bunny Wailer to say anything?
So in Snoop’s mind, the Marleys are the end all be all of reggae music and the Rasta movement. So now we have Rastas calling women bitches and hoes. We have Rastas supporting apartheid. We have Rastas robbing people of their livelihood. Modern Rasta is not the Rasta prophesy by the Honorable Marcus Garvey.

You guys keep saying Snoop Lion. He is no longer a Rasta. Has not been for a long time now. He only did that as a publicity stunt to get more sales for his “Reggae” album.
He was never a rasta …anything for money
It seem Mr Wailer is right about a lot of things, but yet we keep dismissing what he has to say as bitter, and jealousy. Keep in mind that Bob Marley was one man ( a wise man ) but that doesn’t mean we should accept his children at face value. When will we as black people learn that not all of us are for us.
