It has been two weeks since Shenseea’s 4 million Instagram followers have heard from her and they are beginning to wonder what is going on.
It is not like the dancehall diva to go that long without posting something for her fans to enjoy or to update them on what she is doing musically.
At first fans thought maybe she was burnt out and needed some time away from the public but then she was seen at a party Friday night with rapper Busta Rhymes trying to hit on her. No one goes to a party packed with celebrities if they are burnt out and need some quiet time away from the public, so that’s out of the question.
There are also some fans who are wondering if maybe the Blessed singer got banned from posting. According to Instagram: “Violation of Instagram rules leads to a temporary block. It involves limiting the profile’s functionality. You won’t be able to comment, like, follow or write in Direct Messages for a period of time (from 2 hours to 2 weeks).”
If Shenseea was indeed banned for two weeks that would mean the ban should be lifted this week. Shenseea being banned is unlikely though. She does post some sexy photos because after all she is a very sexy lady, however, nothing she posted seems to be of the x-rated manner that would warrant a ban. Especially when you consider that other dancehall stars who post raunchy materials to promote their OnlyFans platform have not been banned.
The third reason that could explain why Shenseea has not been posting on Instagram and the one that is more likely is that she might be giving her fans a chance to miss her. By posting on social media too often, celebrities run the risk of being seen as just another regular person. Also with an album in the making, this is a great time to have fans yearning and wanting more.
Even in entertainment, the old adage holds true, “absence makes the heart grow fonder.”
