The 16-year-old son of dancehall superstar, Mavado, has been charged with murder for the June 5 killing of Lorenzo Thomas AKA ‘Israel’.
Along with the murder charge, the entertainer’s son also faces charges of conspiracy to murder, arson, shooting with intent and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
The gully god is also wanted by the police for questioning but is attorney says that the entertainer is in the United States on prior engagements.
According to the police Mavado’s son had a dispute with a man two weeks ago. The gully god confronted the man and an altercation developed. It is alleged that later that day the man returned with a group of men and someone fired shots at Mavado. The artiste escaped injuries and reported the incident to the police.
