Fast rising female reggae artist, Nanny Mistik, was shot and killed at her home last night. The news reaching 18 Karat Reggae is that the artist was home with her family when a gunman broke in and murdered her.
*** UPDATE ***. We want to correct the above information about Nanny Mistik being shot. The empress was killed but it was not by a gun. We have received reliable information from a family member that she was killed by someone close to her and the alleged perpetrator his now in police custody. Our heartfelt condolences goes out to the family, friends and fans of Nanny Mistik.
Nanny Mistik is known for tracks such “Rasta Luv”, “Single Mother Story” and “Can We Go” which went #3 on Galaxy Radio Station in Europe. She has shared the stage with the likes of Lutan Fyah, General Trees, Marcia Griffiths, Exco Levi and Leroy Gibbons.
