Buju Banton’s camp answered a lot of questions at the media launch of the Long Walk to Freedom Tour. One question they did not answer, however, is whether 2018 X Factor winner, Dalton Harris, would be one of the supporting artistes on the tour.
There have been numerous speculations that since both Banton and Harris share management there was a great chance that Harris would at least do a guest appearance at one of the shows on the Long Walk to Freedom Tour. However, Buju’s camp refused to say yay or nay on the subject.
In fact, Buju Banton’s public relation officer, Ronnie Tomlinson, would not reveal any of the artistes who would be supporting Buju Banton on the tour. Instead she kept her message only on what Buju Banton would be doing on the tour. She says the Reggae Grammy Award winner will have so much things to say.
“Everybody who knows Buju Banton knows the type of energy that he brings to the stage. He will not only bring that energy but he has a lot to say, a lot to share, a lot to tell you and a lot to leave on that stage,” Tomlinson said.
The Long Walk to Freedom tour will begin at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica on March 16th. The tour will then move on to Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, the Bahamas and St Kitts.
