Any day now caged deejay, Vybz Kartel, will know his fate when three appeal judges will hand down their verdict on the deejay’s appeal of his murder conviction. The deejay can either walk free, be granted a retrial or his conviction could be upheld in which case the deejay would have to continue serving his life sentence.

While fans of Kartel anxiously awaits the judges’ decision, they are already convinced that whether the world boss is locked up or free, one thing is certain, he is the king of dancehall. Gaza fans are not alone in this thinking. Fellow Jamaican rapper/singer, Sean Kingston is also convinced that Vybz Kartel is the king.

In an online video, the beautiful girl singer had nothing but high praises for Vybz Kartel.

Vybz Kartel is in prison… this man his still putting out hit records… he is dominating the charts… he is the king of dancehall,” Sean Kingston said in an online live video that has since gone viral.

An endorsement from Sean Kingston touting Vybz Kartel as the king of the dancehall is a big deal because that means Kingston rates Kartel ahead of the living legend Buju Banton. Kingston and Banton are actually blood relatives, so it’s a big deal for the rapper to rank another deejay over his own family member.
