While fans of caged deejay, Vybz Kartel, impatiently wait for the result of his appeal that was filed in July of 2018, a source who claims to have inside information on the Jamaica judicial system is claiming that there is only one thing keeping the deejay behind bars.
According to the source the judges in the Vybz Kartel appeal trial have reached a decision and it is a positive one for the world boss. However, the judges do not want to release that information at this current time as it would interfere with the hype around Buju Banton who was released from prison December of last year.
“Vybz Kartel will be freed after the Buju Banton tour is well underway,” the source said. “If he was freed now, he would take away all the hype from Buju Banton.”
Buju Banton is due to commence is Long Walk to Freedom tour at the national stadium in Jamaica on March 16th.
After his performance in Jamaica, Buju Banton will travel to the Bahamas for a March 30th show in Nassau. The Rasta artiste will then move on to Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Suriname, Grenada, British Virgin Island, and St. Kitts.
At the conclusion at the Caribbean leg of the tour, Buju Banton will continue his Long Walk to Freedom in Europe where he will begin that leg in Cologne, Germany at Summerjam.
The source believes that Vybz Kartel will be released around the end of the Caribbean leg of Buju Banton’s tour which would be around the end of April.
